NTL digital television - loss of channels

    Hi there,
    I am on ntl basic digital and have no bbc1, sky1 and others showing at the moment. They have disappeared.
    I turned the unit off/on and reinserted card etc.
    I had this prob before and know it will sort itself - but anyone know why it happens? are others affected too?

    Sounds like the problem is at source not at the home end.

    Can see BBC 1/2 on the box downstairs, but not upstairs. Odd.

    I've justed checked here and the screen is blank and no epg either.

    got them on the phone.

    The solution is to hit help button on the remote.
    Then yellow button to restart the box.
    Light flashes from green to orange for a while then all the stations come back to life.

    Still naff all on those channels though.... yawn! ;-)
