This morning my speed with BT on the Ennis exchange remains unchanged.
    Download around 840Kbps
    Upload 130Kbps

I have seen some advice about resetting router. I have pulled the power on the Zyxel 600 modem. Can anyone advise if that will reset it.??
Is there any else I can do or shud I just wait.
    Thanks

I am with BT Broadband connect to the Ennis exchange.
When they checked the line they said it was good for up to 4Mpbs.
Just have Zyxtel 600 Modem they sent out connect to
    10/100BT 32 bit Ethernet card.
Any advice will be greatfully recieved.

Look at the back of the modem. You'll see a small little hole just big enough to fit the tip of a ballpoint pen. There is a little button inside. Get a biro and push in the button. Hold it in for 5 - 6 seconds. Thats it.
BEWARE, you will need to re-enter your username/password to log onto BB so if you don't know it, don't do it.
It will also reset the modem username/password to the defaults and erases any port foward settings you may have setup.

Thanks for the tip, I will leave it alone for a couple of days and see what happens. I have current password but I dont know what the defaults are.
When I signed up they asked what log on I wanted so I provided one.
    Thanks for the help.
