dsl hassel?

    can any one explain is it easy to install dsl ie much hassel

    how long will the engineer be there
    and whats the best broadband package for a college student who has days off wednesday.friday saturday and sunday
    who'll mustly use it for gaming probly pc and xbox
    whats the cheapest around

    thurlas area

    and whats cable like

    i see on tv breaks about wireless whats that about regarding games

    Cable from NTL is very good. I'm not sure what Chorus are like but their packages are quite good. I believe they are in Thurles. http://www.chorus.ie

    I'm happy with BT (basic package is now 2Mb which is more than enough for me at least) Fairly consistent speeds so far, only thing is their phone tech support sucks but then all ISP's are like that AFAICS

    Don't bother with engineer install.. you can do it in five minutes... only thing is not to jump the gun and get impatient when u first switch your router on as it can take around five minutes to pick up the DSL signal!

    NTL do engineer installs for free. I would think Chorus is the same. If it is not on their website call them about it.

    why i want know is it hassel free because its not for my house it will be for my cousins house [ill be saying there for college]

    so thats why i need it to be hassel free so whats my best option

    They're all easy. If cable is free engineer it wll be simplest.
