Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Mine seem to be up around the 8ms mark which seems a bit high, regardless of how near or far away from it they seem to be in around this

    Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 3ms, Maximum = 4ms, Average = 3ms

    (And the router (802.11b) is physically located in another house (next door) )

    What's the signal like with NetStumbler?
    What firewalls are in use?

    on my laptop once the it's running off the battery rather than mains
    the ping jumps from 2ms to 25ms...

    presumably some power setting on the wireless card ?
    I've not tried to change it...

    Otherwise it might be interference from the battery but I doubt that.

    Most likely power saving on the laptop.
    Use software provided (If applicable) or Device Manager -> Right-click on the card -> properties -> advanced --power saving (Set to CAM, or off, etc)
