btireland refusing to take phone calls

    just tried to ring bt and downgrade to 2mb package as thats what I had until the upgrade to 3mb and the answer machine says they are busy ring back later. some customer service that. ITs bad enough having to listen to their joke of a queue buster thing where they promise to ring you back once you reach the top of the queue but never do.????

    Heh, a telephone company that can't answer the phone :D

    Send an email to customer.care@btireland.ie and ask to be switched to the lower service. Include your account number and details in the mail. I've always had fairly prompt replies from that email. If you're inside your 12 month contract for BB+ then you may not be able to downgrade.

    Also, never had a problem with the queue buster either. Used it several times and always got a call back.
