The main role is a guy called Alan, what more do you need. That alone has sold it to me :D

I remember reading about it on eurgamer a while back but nothing since. Looks amazing and the gen idea is good but I'd like to see a hands on preview before I get too excited

    "Wake up Alan.."

    Oh sh*t sorry, wrong thing.
    What I meant was:

YEH CAN SEE TEH STRINGS FFS.

    Heh..that'll do.

I was thinking of pre-odering this from Canada for X360 in the hope it was region free, as release date on most sites is only 2 weeks away, but seems its been put back to Autumn even in N.America :(

I've been looking forward to this for quite a while, but haven't seen or heard of any updates at all since I first heard of it. Hope it's not going to be another Duke Nukem Forever!

'Hi, I'm Alan Wake. Watch me moan and be annoyingly moody through 8 hours of repetitive slow motion gun play and a junior cert level nonsensical revenge plot.'

hope it's much better than max payne.

as far as i can remember the gameplay was meant to be ver free roaming during daylight but having to shelter/find a safe house at night due to the large amount of morlocks/chuds/molemen with an affinity for night time
