LIT Air wireless settings

    Does anyone know what settings I need to get on the LIT Air wireless system - I've a laptop and wireless card and get a good signal in the canteen - but how do i get on the internet?

    Ok when your in the canteen right where you pick a good signal, go into your Internet Explorer and do the following:

    1) Click Tools
    2) Click Internet Options
    3) Then click the connections tab
    4) Click the Lan settings on the bottom
    5) Make sure the first two boxes are unticked and the last one is ticked.
    6) For the address type in: 172.16.200.250 and for the port 80.
    7) Click ok and away you go.
    8) Refresh the explorer and you will be asked to enter your Student Id and password.

    Mozilla Firefox

    1) Click Tools
    2) Click Options
    3) Then Click Connection Settings
    4) Tick the manual proxy settings.
    5) For the HTTP Proxy put in 172.16.200.250 and port 80.
    6) Make sure Use this proxy for protocols is ticked also.
    7) Click Ok.
    8) Refresh the explorer and you will be asked to enter your Student Id and password.
