I just got Eircom Broadband. I signed up for the €30 a month package. This allows me 1meg downloads. What is all this talk about eircom charging people for them upgrading the line. I taught it would be €30 for 6 months. I specifically asked the salesperson that, and they said that if the prices were going up that they would have to send me a letter in writing informin me of the increase. Will I be charged more.

All the talk is people who misread the details of an offer (first x months at a reduced rate, and normal rate applies thereafter). You won't be charged more, as the 29.99 is the normal monthly rate (which just happens to be the same as a previous offer price).
