Having lived abroad for quite a long time I moved back to Ireland a few years ago.
I could not believe the prices been charged for dental works here.
What I did was to get a contact with a dentist who specialises in prostetics in Zagreb, Croatia. The person is a lecturer in the Schhol of Dentistry in Zagreb University.
Th econdition of my teeth prior to treatment. In the upper left side of my mouth, I had teeth 4, 5 and 6 extracted and 3 and 7 were the "healthy" ones. I had previously carried two permanent "bridges" but each time experienced pain on tooth 3. Went to Zagreb as I said, spoke to the denmtis who thought that to many pressure was put on two teeth and he recommended that I get a titanium implant tyo spread the pressure of cheewing more evenly. He phoned a colleague of his straight away (Senior specialist of oral surgery) who called me in the next day and after viewing my X ray dedcided that he could go ahead and put the implant. It was totally painless and cost me around 650€. Than, I went back to my dentist who took some measurments. I went back in 6 months for the "suprastructure" to be fitted and than my dentist took another impression and told me to come back in about 10 days. He insisted that my front teeth were not in a good shape due to malocclusion and "grinding" and wanted to put porcelan veneers on them too.
To make a long story short, I paid around 4500 (I was getting cheap flights (Ryanair and Easyjet). for a permanent bridge connecting tooth 3 on the right side and going to tooth 7 on the left side. You can make out for yourself how much this would have cost you here or even up the North.

The chap was not extremely talkative but he had a load of diploma's and all sorts of certificates on the walls so I assume he is good. The surgeon who fitted the implant said that he was one of the best.
I am very happy with my teeth now and no one can tell that I am wearing "false" teeth.
If anyone wants his details, send me a PM and I will send you his details.

Glad to hear you had a good experiance, and hope your prosthesis gives you many years of service. Maybe you could PM me a picture of the work as I have no experiance of dental work from Zagreb.

    Good luck

I have no problem with that.
I will have to wait for my wife to return and ask her to take a pic.
