Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This might be weird, but has anyone else noticed how that stuff your english teacher told you about balanced sentences really works? As relates to 24:

"The following takes place between 1am and 2am, on the day of the california presidential primary."

sounds a hell of a lot better than

"The following takes place between 1am and 2am."

See? Balanced Sentences. Has anyone else noticed this?
(Oh yeah, and I really miss series 1's 'this is the longest day of my life' intro too....)

    yeah i know :(

the whole intro to each episode in series 1 was so cool, maybe because of the balanced sentences!

Agreed. Season 1 had the best intros of all, without doubt.

"Right now, terrorists are plotting to assassinate a Presidential candidate. My wife and daughter have been kidnapped..... and the people that I work with may be involved in both. I'm Federal Agent Jack Bauer........ and today is the longest day of my life."

"The following takes place between midnight and 1 a.m., on the day of the California Presidential Primary."

    "Events occur in real-time."

    Simple...... but brilliant! :D
