Dont laugh but I happen to be listening to both these bands this morning, and have to say both bands brought a smile to my face, their music even though quite different has a nice easy listening quality, why are there no bands like that out there now.
All the good musicians are taking themselves far too seriously, or maybe it was just the nostagia.

Musical talent and expression's been killed by commercialism. Nothing makes it to the common ear unles the producers can guarantee that it will make zillions. ya hafta go looking for the diamonds in the piles of sh..te these days to even hear a good tune... even then its invarialby a one off ....

Damn... Roxette... I fancied the arse off Marie when I first seen her. It was around that time I started learning to play the guitar in the hopes she'd ditch Per and stumble across me while on holiday in this part of Dublin.

    What? I was 13!

Don't knock Aztec Camera completely, mate!!! Somewhere in My Heart was quite simply a pop classic, but look beyond the fluff and there's a cracking tune they did with Mick Jones (of the Clash) called 'Good Morning Britain'...

Hunt it down - cracking song...
