Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Laptop/Notebook Ecternal Soundcards - Opinions?

    Recently got an inspiron 6000 from dell (Yeah - I know - Not the best :( ). After sorting it out which involed reinstalling the system/drivers to get rid of all the Dell 'Spam' programs installed, (And why they need to mess with the .ini start-up file is beyond me! *Expletives excluded*).

    Obviously the sound quality is abysmal to say the least (I'm in a nice mood today :) ). So anyway, external soundcard is in order!

    I've been looking at these listed at komplett.ie

    Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS Notebook PCMCIA, DD THX7.1,EX, DTS-ES

    And

    Creative SB Audigy 2 NX, USB2.0, DD EX7.1, External,

    Whats your opinions on these? Any good/bad reports?

    Any recommendations for alternatives?

    I intend to use this for djing/live/recording...
