I ENJOYED THE RUBBER BANDITS TOO, only have a bootleg copy of their work + the new stuff on their website

Still cant see why they dont release the newer ones, surely where there is a will theres a way!

nice bit of misrepresentation from the NOTW in relation to the Foreigners song there.

Interestingly, I received an e-mail from an NOTW journalist last Friday wanting to contact the "great man" that is Gerry Hannan in relation to the Shams. Passed on the message to Hannan (I only have his msn address) and left it at that.

The piece forgot the part that the song was written to ridicule the urban myths that were going around about foreigners at the time. I mean, they take our women, they pee in the pool when they go swimming.

someone told me about the article and i managed to see it late on sunday.

checked the old shams website and had an email from jimmy.cunningham (the journalist) asking for a comment on the "outrage" caused by our "new" song

told him it was released in 2005 and maybe he should cover pope JP II death as well as Live8.

he got kinda ratty.

some people cant take a joke, but i think that point was already by the article
