Netgear DG834GT sync issues FIX!

    Dunno about anyone else, but I had a very hard time trying to get my DG834GT modem to re-sync whenever it lost it. Plugging out power, line, plugging in power, reset, wait, plug in line, sync light flashing flashing flashing off, drove me MAD!!

    There's a new firmware upgrade available (note it's still in BETA)...

    Had exactly the same experience. Bought one a week ago and was mad about its ability to connect - tried power reset, full reset, phone sockets, filters etc. All useless. When connected tho did not drop a connection once.
    Loaded the beta firmware - connected every time, first time, since.

    Nice one - I've one of these routers too and have the same problem.
    I'll give it a go now but I trust it'll work a threat....;)
