recommended books: Irish politics

From the mid/late 80s to the present. Basically, I want a book that focuses on the various governments since then - whether they were majority governments, coalitions etc. Its for a study on social partnership. Cheers quad

Hey,
I'd advise any of Stephen Collinses' books particularly The Haughey file, The Power Game, The Cosgrave legacy and haven't read his latest one Breaking the mould.

I'd also recommend ''Days of Blue Loyalty'' a survey of the Fine Gael memebrship conducted before the 2002 General Election by Michael Marsh.
