BT DSl and this router issues?

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6768061.htm having some trouble getting this to connect to BT DSL, seems to set itsels up for English DSl and the VCI goes to 0 but i cant find a way to change it to 8. Anyone have this or know of a way to get it working? kdjac

Are you using a telephone adapter to convert the english lead to to an Irish one (RJ11)? This has come up here before with english DSL modems. Try using a Irish phone lead (RJ11 to RJ11).

It finds the DSL and names it correctly syncs perfectly too just wont accept the password and allow the pc to connect.

Diagnostics say PPPOE error, system log says VCI is 35 and VPI is 0 (it should be 8)

There isnt an option to change it to 8
