Not sure if this would be the correct forum, but:

I was wondering is there a free audio program that will allow me add pauses to a continuous stream of audio. I want to burn a copy of Eddie Murphys 1hr+ 'Raw' and was wondering if i could create my own chapter system with a piece of software

    is this possible?

1 Record it in audacity (Freeware - google it).

2 Mark a segment, copy it, do file new and paste into the new instance. Use generate->insert silence at the end of the file and save it as an mp3. Repeat for each chunk of the master file.
