If you really really HAVE to get coffee in 911 - go with the brewed stuff (ie black coffee). Asking them to make you a cappucino, is like asking a brick layer to perform root canal.

Are you studying archaeology? Or did you just dig up this old thread for fun?

It was brought to me by the wonderful invention of "related threads".

    Didn't check the date tbh.

What I hate is places which advertise that they have soya milk and when you ask for it they look at you blankly and state that they don't have soya milk and look at me like I'm nuts when I say that they should change their sign.

    *sigh*

I don't understand how everywhere doesn't have soya at this stage anyway. It's not that bloody expensive, and it's just as nice (if not nicer) than dairy. You just have to be careful not to put it into a boiling hot drink, or it'll curdle.

    Mmhm. SOYA!

I hate the whole communication barrier in 911. I'd love to know if they really have a problem with English, or if they're just using it to avoid having to talk to any of us.

If you don't think a product or service is of desired quality then you should not buy it. A lot of people in this country just accept what they are given, even if it's a total rip-off, and then go and have a private rant about it. That will not achieve anything and just make you miserable. Last time I checked we live in a capitalist economy, and so long as you continue buying a crappy product and the seller makes a profit they will continue giving a lousy service without any impetus to improve. If you have a problem with 911 or any other outlet just boycott it. If enough of us do this they will soon change their ways for the better or else close down (and I don't think any tears will be shed if the later happens). Boycotts coupled with complaints to management work. Whinging to your mates does nothing.

And in any case, coffee is mank. Why would you ever want to buy it!?! :p

I wouldn't go as far as to say coffee is mank, but I would say unless you're going to a place that specialises in it, you're going to be disappointed.

It's like the difference between a well-made pint of Guinness in a good pub and one some ****ehawk lashes at you in a club.

Have a look at the fruit that they make the smoothies with. It's rank looking
