still on 1mb bt bb

    i am still on 1024 down and 128 up,

    its a free upgrade so can i complain and demand the upgrade

    i am about 50feet away from the towns exchange building, so its not a line problem

    These upgrades dont become official until the 1st Feb so hold your horses!

    If your not connected at 2048/256 by then....complain your heart out.

    yeah i did a few times, i run up the stairs like a kid on christmas morning, to check the results, but still no joy


    These upgrades dont become official until the 1st Feb so hold your horses!

    If your not connected at 2048/256 by then....complain your heart out.


    will do, but it feels cheeky complaining that i didn't get my FREE upgrade

    Likewise no upgrade here on the Ennis Exchange, in fact if anything things
    have slowed down. From the posts if its not done by now we have missed out but will wait until the offical deadline and then complain.

    No, the new speeds came into effect for existing customers on Jan 24th.
    Feb 1st is the date for the launch of the new prices/packages.
    Mukki, what exchange are you on?

    EDIT: Correction on date. The new speeds became effecitve for existing customers on Jan 23rd.

    Your actually right:
    *New speeds will become effective for exisiting and new Residential Broadband customers from Monday 23rd January 2006.
    Those damn phone monkeys!!!

    I suspect eircom have 1 week to cleanup their mess before their bitstream suppliers can start bitching them to hurry up.

    was over in a friends house last night same exchange (about half a mile away)

    he was on the 1mb line but now its 1.9mb down 200kb up, so its not the exchange, i think bt have really let me down
