I think this is the best place to ask. Thinking of getting a group of lads together to tour europe in camper vans this summer. Does anyone know what the story is regarding the legality of travelling without a seatbelt is if the vehicle has seats that don't have seat belts on them? Both in Ireland and mainland Europe. Currently looking at a few older models, all have 4 or so berths, but only have seatbelts on the very front two seats. Some have seatbelts retro-fitted to the seats in the rear. Is this sufficient and if so do you know if any garage can do this?
First post in motors - thanks guys!
