Hi all, could anybody tell me in theory what it is you look at when deciding whether or not to sell a private limited company? It would be much appreciated!!

profitability
IPR
cost reductions
access to new markets
access to key staff

Another one, and probably the main one is how will you be able to support yourself if you do sell?

In posh language, that might be called finding an alternative home for capital where the same or a higher return can be attained.
