Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok I have a few questions on hardware samplers.

First off what are the main things you can use them for?

How exactly do you record your beats ect. Do you press record and tap the beats in or somthing. Do you record your knicks, then layer over the snares, then high hats etc?

Can you record synths and things?

Can you record your voice into it and activate it by hitting a pad and apply effects?

Is it possible to use only this and maby a keyboard to do live sets?

Anything else that you can do that I didnt mention??

    Cheers

A lot of people use 12bit samplers to get that really crunchy lo-fi sound for drums or whatever samples you have. Most samplers have filters which colour the sound to a degree.
