Where to go on Holidays ?

Tis that time of the year again, to gt hold of some brouchures and try and sift through all the info in the hope of picking out a good place to go on holidays. Anyone recommend a place to go ? Lets pool our recs together and maybe we can help each other out.

Id highly recommend Lanzarote, Majorca
And only recommend the Algarve and Salou. They weren't as good.

ANy thoughts ?
What about Tunisia ? Im thinking about going here this year. But have recieved poor reports about this place only.

What about Costa de Sol / Torremolinos ?

First of all you're in the wrong forum. How about trying travel / holidays.

Secondly all the places you've mentioned are crap-holes full of English/Irish lager louts drinking in English/Irish bars and reading copies of the English/Irish Sun.

If you want somewhere decent for more or less the same price try going to Croatia or Slovenia. Beautiful countries and people and you'll keep away from all the crap that comes with a package holiday.

Point taken, you dont like package holidays. But other people do. And thats the point of view Im looking for. And thanks for the tip, I have re-posted this into the correct section.
