Sorry if this is the wrong forums.

I need a High Def DVD, A movie would be great but even something small.

I know you can download some smaples but we are not sure if it loses some quailty when burning it to DVD,

the reason we need one is we have presentation in RTE with our plasma screens tomorrow and the boss wants one at the last minute !!!!!!

So if anyone knows where i can get a DVD in high def please let me know.

Just to add I've only been given the task of finding this DVD in the past hour so i haven't checked any shops. So if all DVD shops have them sorry but i didnt know :)

    thanks.

What will you be playing it in? Most people use a media center pc to play their hd video or a simalar product like my Snazio SZ1350.

    edit:

If you have a dvd player that can play divx hd files burn a few of the movie trailers from their site to dvd, they have Jarhead and Madagascar and a few others, class quality.

beyond that I doubt youll get one in time - hopefully im wrong

I think he means burn the file to the DVD, rather than transcoding to MPEG2.

720 AFAIK, burn them along with some files from http://www.wmvhd.com/ straight to DVD, don't convert then see if your DVD player will play them.

it would be just as easy to get a load of HD material off the net, then playlist them with a laptop (we use our i9100) to the pc input of the screen.
We had over 40 mins of HD material playing on lcd screens that looped.
