Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ive just bought this

Sony Vaio 5GHz 802.11a access point & 5GHz wireless card.

Ill need to get another card I know.

I have absolutely no wireless experience, I want to share files between 2/3 pc's, do a little lan gaming and maybe use it for wireless multimedia (films music etc)

Im looking for some good wireless 'how to' sites (yes ive tried googling and there is just too much to know where to start)

anybody point me in the right direction?

    Thanks.

there are loads of posts here on boards about wireless setup. it's too late now for me to start cuz im off to the scratcher.

there are tutorials on some of the wireless manuf websites, d-link, netgear, linksys.

it's not too difficult once you read up a lil and read the manuals.

5gigs reduces the distance between AP and clients, but does suffer less interference

Is wifi built in or pcmcia?

this one works with 802.11a/b/g networks so it's compatible with all wireless networks ;)
