Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Screensaver keeps starting

    OK, here's a wierd one...

suddenly, while I'm typing, my screensaver keeps starting. Everytime I press a key, it stops, but then tries to start straight away. This doesn't always happen, it probably only happens once every two weeks.

If I move the mouse, it then gives up it's antics and acts normal, i.e. won't start.

I've done scans for spyware and virus and found nothing. My screensaver idle time is 15 minutes.

It's almost as if the keyboard is temporarily ignored when it comes to detecting if the machine is idle.

[edit] Box is Win XP Professional

    Anyone else seen this behaviour?
I tried searching, but didn't find anything.... yet.... but then I didn't search to hard

    P

Maybe turn it off completely? Maybe I'm just being wreckless but I don't see the point in screensavers.

yeah that's an option alright, but I'd rather address the root problem, than the symptom!
