Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Question about buying a camera

    Me and my mates are becoming increasingly interested in movies and production and we want to make a few short fims ourselves. Now bear in mind that we dont have extensive knowledge of film production nor are any of us taking it that seriously but its something that we would love to do as a hobby more so than anything else.

    With this in mind we want get a decent camcorder/camera that will allow us to make pretty good quality video and good quality sound effects. Does anybody have any suggestions for a camera that would suit us?

    A Canon XL1s or lower end XM1, or the new sony HDV Z1 is very good for the price
