Pro Evo. Only game I'm still playing. Sold most of the rest on here.

Will probably go back to Liberty Cities in a while. Got to the last island and then got sick of it.

Just a brief note on Liberty Cities, the way that the game ends is stupid. You know the bridge that you jump across at the start, you cannot drive over that, it has not been fixed. You have to jump it again. The story at the end is crap, well at least I think so. The best thing I would say about GTA is the multiplayer function, but you have to have someone near you to play it, you cannot play it on the net unfortunetly. Would be good if you could, I taught the developers would have made it playable on the net seen as the psp can go on the net through wifi.

At the moment I am still playing World Snooker Challenge 2005. That was the first game I got and I think it is the best. Second favourite would have to be Need For Speed Most Wanted, but the thing I don't like about this one is that you cannot drive around the city as you could in previous games for the PS2. I also have Midnight Club, played it three times at most, never played it again.

Been switching between SFA2, Super Mario and Zelda: A Link to The Past.

Lately I've picked up WOpure again after they provided some new tracks/packs...there's now 28 tracks and I'm still trying to unlock tournaments and beat my lap times.

Just got done with a couple of weeks playing NFS:MW....great pick up and play game....and Lumines is always at hand when I need a quick fix...

GTA LCS, monkey island on scummvm and the occasional bit of lumines. I want to get a copy of Everybody's Golf next.

Lumines for the win chief. Finished vs CPU the other night. Unlocking the bonus characters for more squares than seconds in the timed mode... still crap at challenge though.

Guilty Gear XX: The Midnight Carnival. It's a wee japanese street fighteralike but the graphics are smoother, the story is nicer ;) and the characters are far more fun. It is my all time favourite multiplayer game.

Sam & Max on SCUMM... I wish there was GrimE support for my beloved Fandango but sometimes 2D is What I need.

Apart from those two it's Quake II for the win... good craic multi.

I am awating syphon filter:):) socom:) and so many others

but i like to play RR

alternating between street fighter alpha 2 and gta at the moment.

Sf is brilliant for short bursts of play (ended up playin it for 2 hours+ in school today though.)

grew tired of gta very quickly, multiplayer is good provided you can find people to play.

Those lucasarts games are something i really need to get back into... played sam and max on win98 a few years back but never finished it. Whats it like on the psp?

Fully playable. Analog for mouse control and no need to read because the SCUMM VM on PSP supports the voices from the CD version I've got ;) If you have it then it's definitely the most fun you can have with a PSP*

Its all about your personal prefrence, but i believe it kind of defeats the point of the psp if you come home, set up the xlink connection etc to play online (considering you can also use the mta mod to play multiplayer on the gta pc games anyway.)Id much prefer if i could stumble across a decent free hotspot in town or something, otherwise just find a few mates. But each to their own, any way you look at it, you get amazing features for your money.

cant wait for street fighter alpha 3 to be released.

Out of intrest, what firmware/emulator/loader are you using?

Im on fw 2.00 using the tiff exploit as it runs snes9x tyl. SFA running a steady 60fps really is a dream to play.

When using the gta loader and the older version of snes 9x, i was getting jumpy fps and 35 at best.

Just shows what a diffrence the loader etc. makes.

Are you running the emu at the full 333mhz?

Been Mixin it up playin all of my games almost equally, Pro Evo "Love it", WOPure, Virtua Tennis"I'm hooked" and Need for Speed, I also have spider man but dont even wanna look at it, SO is there anybody out there interested in swappin with me, I'll give you Spiderman and I'll take Whatever your offering, Also can you tell me where to get these emulators and Downloadable games, Nevermind my name, I'm really a NeWb, But i'll Pwn Your ass in Killer Instinct if i had an N64 :)

    Lumines.

Tis one of the best and most addictive games on the PSP. I used fastloader previously but ordered myself the Japanese BestOf version for $30 or so from lik-sang.com. You can nearly always find me playing it now. However, my top score is only 140k [which didnt save to the memory stick :( ]

GTA:LCS I'm also picking up and playing. However nothing is better then a multipalyer of that in the labs in dcu :)

Im on 2.01 using the Uo_Snes9x emu. Its the only one (that I know of) that works on fanjitas GTA exploit.

Yeah im running it at 333mhz and have frame skip and such on to improve but even so it lags the odd time.

Currently playing Exit. One of the best games in a while, probably the best game out on PSP at the moment.

Absolutely. Tell us chief, is there enough text in the Jap Exit for me to be able to read it with only Leaving Cert. Japanese?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,587 ✭✭✭✭Dont be at yourself

You could survive, I'd say. After the first few levels, you learn all the skills you need to play the rest. The story is in Japanese, but all the HUD, menus etc are in English.

Very similar to Marble Madness from years ago.
