Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this 2 year course?

    http://www.stjohnscollege.ie/index.php?pageID=22

I'm interested in changing career, taking a big risk by leaving my steady job of 4yrs - hoping in a career in video/film production and would greatly appreciate some feedback on this. Would it be worth doing? and are the jobs prospects good?

    Thanks for your help
    John

Hey so i'm actually in VP/Filmmaking in st johns. I'm in 1st year. Its a lot of work and a lot of parts of the course are ****, eg, communications and text production. but when it gets creative its good. photography is an interesting part of it. video class is great. we do scriptwriting, lighting and editing, etc. overall i'd say its pretty hard but very good. oh ya film appreciation class is cool too. the work prospects are apparently not great but the course is good if you just want to make films and need the knowhow.
