Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problem With Linksys Wag54g

    Just having a problem with a second hand Linksys adsl gateway modem that I bought on e-bay. model WAG54G
    I have it connected via ethernet cable only but cannot acces the router to configure the settings through either of my browsers (firefox and IE).
    The default username and password is admin/admin but when i enter this in the dialogue box the dialogue box just returns empty looking for the password again.
    when i go cancel I get a 401 -authorization required fault (red screen) which says that my browser cant acces the router or the password /username is incorrect.
    any help would be appriciated - i have not left feedback for the seller ... yet.

    default for linksys is a blank user name and admin as password in all linksys 4 routers I admin in work.

    if that doesn't work. Hold in the reset button and try again.

    check linksys.com, they should have the defaults there

    Thanks for that Bogger77 - I had tried the reset button before but held it in for longer this time and then tried admin/admin - and I got in - problem solved - thanks again.:)
