    Anyone posting ANY CARTOONS related to the current events from now on will have thier post deleted and will be temp banned.

    The cartoon is offensive to muslims and as such will not be allowed on this forum.

    There are already 4-5 discussions on boards.ie in other forums regarding the cartoon. Take it there.

    I will be quite pleased to extend that to a category ban for religion / spirituality.

    The argument that one should have a right to publish these cartoons does not extend to an argument that one should publish them on a forum where the focus is Islam. There is a difference in arguing that free speech means one should be allowed to mock the Prophet, and doing so here.

    The only reason to publish them in this forum though is to deliberately offend and provoke the members of a particular faith, which is contrary to the very act of providing the religion / spirituality forums as a whole, and will be treated as such.
