Accident on Grace park road???

Was driving down Grace Park Road at about 7.30pm on Sunday night and there was someone lying on the ground just down from the junction. Anyway I was driving past again about half an hour ago and there were 2 garda cars at the spot and the area was taped off. The Guards were lookin around with torches.

I presume the person either died or is seriously in a bad way and that it warranted further investigation.

Anyone any ideas as to what happened?
