Not really a bargain alert though...

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005OULMUS/ref=nosim/?tag=hukdie-21
    €21 tetris 3ds from amazon.
    heard of it from hukd.ie

Personally haven't thought tetris has been fun since gameboy, but some might.

technically if buy any item from Amazon that under £25 theres a £3 for post and packaging

the free post and packaging is any item over £25 not under £25 at amazon,

technically price since its under £25 for etris 3ds is £20.99 with pp = €24.50 in total not €21

http://littlebigbunch.co.uk/ Will be a new pay what you want site come the 14th of december.
The indie supporting cast of the Little Big Bunch is Curve Studios' Explodemon (makers of the popular Stealth Bastard), Mommy's Best Games' Serious Sam: Double D, and New Star Games' New Star Soccer 5 (bundles have been lacking in sports games). The not-so-indie title completing the lineup is Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee.

    source

The website has nothing on it yet but I thought I would put it here anyway. Day before SWTOR early access though so i don't know how much play these games will get from me :D

Just to note the above prices definitely don't apply to all GAME stores; in ILAC there's still a sale, but it was:

    * €24.99 - PC
    * €34.99 - XBox 360

(Didn't check the PS3 price but presume it's same as XBox)

Still a great price for the PC version though! (Can't quibble about €2 :)

I quite enjoyed Homefront. Some of the set pieces were good I thought.
Not a very long game but would defo get it a €4.99

Defense Grid is alright. Demo was fun enough but it was getting boring at the end. very little changing from level to level apart from the enemies. Just using brute force seems to work well. Probably worth €7, but it's really a game you'd only play if you had nothing else to play.

Just got an email from EA about their new store Origin. It is for PC only but they are having daily deals from now until December 26th.

1st Warning: These deals may be only valid in the UK! I tried to check but see warning 2.
2nd Warning: The Origin software is horrible:

s/w: "Please Enter username/ email address and password"
me - Can't Remember Password - Click on forgotten password - EA sends verification code to email address.
s/w: "Please Enter verification code and new password"
    me -Done, click "accept"
s/w: "Your email address is not recognised"
    me -Click "Create new account"
s/w: "Enter Email address and password"
    me - Done, Click "Ok"
s/w: "Your Email address is already associated with an account! Please enter password"
    me - Arrgggghhh!! Repeat
    me - Arrgggghhh!! Repeat

Anyway if you do manage to get out of the endless loop and can verify if you need to be in the UK or not:

Todays deal is buy Battlefield 3 for €49.99, get Battlefield Bad Company 2 for free. Valid until 23.59 on 9th of December

Not sure how good a deal this is, but might be worth keeping an eye on it over the next few days.

I spent around 10 hours on the Defense Grid campaign and enjoyed most of it, if you like tower defence it's a good pick.. if not, avoid. :)

Gamestop have links on their facebook page for Sonic Generations at €23.97, not bad if you have €23.97 to spare... which I don't :(

Skyrim for Xbox 360 is only €25 in Game in Dundrum.

I don't know if it's a countrywide thing, but that's cheaper than Amazon before postage costs are added.
