Hydrophobia: Prophecy is on sale on Steam for the midweek madness for the grand total of €2.50.
It didn't get rave reviews but is supposed to have pretty damn amazing water effects in with some fairly good gameplay.

This game is excellent, go buy it now.

    Hydrophobia: Prophecy 1,75€
This is now available on PSN for €1.49 with a redeem code (received from PSN via email).

Still in the process of downloading but seems like a good deal.

Syndicate is £8.99 on gamefly.co.uk when you use this code at the checkout. About €11-€11.50
    HOTUK0611

    http://www.gamefly.co.uk/Download-Syndicate-UK/5002386/

Not too sure if they charge you in euros since I'm in the UK. but you should still be able to buy it off the UK site as far as I remember.

Registers with and NEEDS Origin to play.

    It's a great game.
Shorter than most people like, but I prefer short games.

    Which version is it though...

Only got to play <1hr so far but am really enjoying it even if I've already spotted a few flaws/ bugs. Also the character movement seems a bit.......awkward, but water physics engine is very good though.

Saw last night on the PSN store there is a 'Golf Sale' tab in 'New This Week'. Everybody's Golf: World Tour Complete Edition is on sale for 9.99 euro (was 29.99). I have great memories of of playing EG 1 and 2 back in the day so seriously thinking about getting this.

Just saw this sale ends today, hope it's still up by the time I get home!

Cheers lads will pick that up when I'm home.

Steam looking for €40 and a bricks n mortar was after €50 : / no wonder they are shutting down.

Anything odd or dodgy I need to be aware off (Russian versions etc)

Should be alright with the getgamesgo site. It's a Eurogamer sister site as far as I'm aware. Never used them but I'd imagine they're fine.

They got back to me this morning and said the card was rejected and I wasnt charged. Will get father to check his account.

Many a warning online through various forums that this place uses that line when codes are invalid, yet they still charge the card.

GoG.com are doing their Summer promo at the moment. Each day you get to vote on what which of two games should get a bigger discount the following day. Definitely worth keeping an eye on. The winner gets a 60% discount and the loser gets 40%.

Most likely they're trying to get in the week before steam summer sales, going by last year's and the year before's schedule!

Looks like they dont take visa either.. this is the second time I've tried to buy a game from them and got a message saying contact their customer support. So now i've done that and I got some email about someone having to phone me... WTF

EDIT: Finally got it sorted. Turns out that gamefly didnt like my email address. Apparently its high risk or something. So simply changing to my gmail address fixed the problem. Now why it couldnt have said this in the error message and saved me all this time is beyond me.

I think the last one ran from about 27th June to 4th July so if it is happening again this year, I would assume it will be around the same dates
