Unless I misunderstand how the system works, you're rendering at least the PC part of the product useless to whoever buys it after you. The online aspects of the PS3 version will also be unavailable to them.

You're screwing valve over TWICE by first of all keeping their gift which is intended for people who actually own the game, and then again by selling it to a game shop who will keep all of the resale profit to themselves.

How is what he's doing any different from using the Project $10 code that comes with EA games? Anyone buying a second-half PS3 Portal 2 should be smart enough to realise that the code will be used.

Don't see any problem with that at alll. If you buy a second hand game from a shop, you should expect the code to be used.

Gamestop are giving an additional 50% on trade in for this weekend. went in with 3 games to trade for portal 2 and got back 1 euro in credit instead of paying 3 euro!

Games I traded in were tiger woods 11, Battlefield bad company 2 and heavy rain.

Just traded in Dragon Age: Origins, Fable III and Far Cry 2 for Portal 2 at a cost of €3 in Gamestop.

L.A. Noire is confirmed part of this deal too and the extra 50% trade in value is valid until C.O.B. Monday.

Has anyone traded in Crysis 2 on xbox/PS3 in gamestop recently?

Thinking about trading it in with the 50% extra trade in? I assume the 25% extra for trade ins won't count when you pre- order a game.

If it does it'd be very handy.

It does yea. They were offering me 40 euro for Dragon Age II towards LA Noire but I decided I'd hold off and check my games for any older titles I was rid of for the 3 games plus €3 deal.
