    The risk of STIs that exists with vaginal penetrative sex can be greater with anal sex. As with vaginal sex, not using condoms is really something that only makes sense if you are monogamous or latex-monogamous and know each others' sexual and STI-test history.

    There is a risk of slight tears, especially if you are rough and/or don't use lube.

    There is a risk of bacteria from the rectum, such as E Coli. infecting you, or infecting her if you follow it with vaginal sex.

    Very frequent anal sex can cause a weakening of the sphincter muscles. This is rare, and only really a risk if you engage very frequently.
