Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Robots have the deepest feelings. An audible proof. Quite fast number.

    2. HOT CHIP - OVER AND OVER (JUSTUS' BAKING THE HORSE VERSION) /// (EMI)
    Remix that converts HC's ode to the beauty of repetition into a
    tribute to danish simplicity pop masters Laid Back.

    3. AALIYAH - GOT TO GIVE IT UP (REMIX) /// (ARISTA)
    Deweaponingly sexy rework of the Marvin Gaye gem. You just don't
    believe it's that old because of its ultramodern sonic design. She
    was just so out there - R.I.P. (erm, of course this is kinda slomo-
    disco music).

    4. MATIAS AGAUAYO - RADIOTAXI /// (KOMPAKT)
    Off the highly recommended album "Are You Really Lost", out on
    KOMPAKT. Mostly slomo-techno w/sexy vox to be heard on this record.

    5. LA BIONDA - "I WANNA BE YOUR LOVER" /// (ARIOLA)
    Forgotten scifi-sicko-slomo-disco gem by italo masters La Bionda (of
    "One For You, One For Me" fame). A friend of mine recommended this to
    me way before it recently appeared on Annie's !K7-"DJ Kicks" comp.

    6. DJ PIERRE - "MUZIK" /// (STRICTLY RHYTHM)
    Just never grows old. Can be married to 10cc's "I'm Not In Love"
    using ableton live with absolutely stunning results.

    7. DEE-LITE "WHAT IS LOVE" /// (ELEKTRA)
    This 1991 classic perfectly fits into current slomo-disco sets.
    Simply FAT. Just love tracks asking stupid big questions (eg, "Was
    ist Musik?" ;o) )

    8. KONTRAST - STAMMTISCH DER VERZWEIFLUNG /// (KOMPAKT)
    Brandnew KOMPAKT release of newly founded cologne/berlin-based slomo-
    techno outfit KONTRAST (that's me and Dirk Leyers of CLOSER MUSIK
    fame). Dark, deep, sexy. The title roughly translates as "table of
    regulars of despair".

    9. KATE BUSH - RUNNING UP THAT HILL (12" VERSION) /// (EMI)
    "Aerial" kills me. Unfortunately it does not feature any club-
    compatible number - but this 1985 classic absolutely IS. "make a deal
    with god"... aahrgh, killer tune.

    10. LINDSTRØM - I FEEL SPACE /// (FEEDELITY / PLAYHOUSE)
    The oslo-disco hype is reaching breathtaking heights. For some
    reasons - this disco nouveau jewel still just flies!
