    I am staring work experience soon and I'm gonna be writing VB Macros and dll's, neither of which I have a clue about.
    Can anybody shed some light?

    VB and VBA in a Nutshell - the Languages

    thats the book you need. VB is easy enough to get a hang of, macros and dlls are described well in this book if I can remember correctly
