He says give me the bad news

"well Ireland invaded england and Mary mcAleese is now the queen of england and Jerry Adams is the prime minister"

Horrifed by this he asks them what the good news is

"well Rangers beat Celtic last week"
"what was the score" replied rev Paisley

"2 goals and 5 points to 1 goal and 6"
