Hi,
In the last few weeks my BB conection in Dublin 5 has deteriorated to such an extent I cannot download even the smallest email. The DSL light on the router keeps going out, and re-appears for a few seconds at a time!

Has anyone else experienced this kind of problem with BT Ireland or any other DSL provider.

At this stage I don't know if my line is oversubscribed and I have a neighbour downloading the extended version of Lord of the Rings or if the problem lies with the router.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I'd appreciate it.

used to happen to me, found out it was probably a dodgy microfilter. Removed it and everythings ok again.
