    Anybody know if there is a poker tournament on in some bar in limerick tonight. heard there was a big one somewhere but can't remember venue

    I seen an advert in last weeks Limerick Post about a Poker Tournament being on in Smyth's Bar, cannot remember when it was on though.

    It might be worth giving them a ring.

    It was on in Smyths last night, there is another one on next week i think

    Every Tuesday night in the Greenhills hotel a tournament takes place. Croupiers at every table, tournament director and tickets to the Munster open (80k prizepool) for top players. Reg opens at 7 cards dealt at 8 sharp.

    If it's a bit of craic and a few pints with mates then fair enough but if your interested in playing a decent game of poker then don't go to this. It's got a dreadful structure.

    There are good games and tournaments on during the week in Limerick in the Pokerlounge card room and a good tournament on in Greehills on Tuesdays
