Is it possible for a policy holder to take out another insurance policy with another company for a different car? Ie: Be insured on two cars with two different companys at the same time.
The reason i ask is my mom has her provisional but wants to be able to drive another car and open insurance is out of the question as she has her provisional.
Anyone know if there is a conflict between the two?

Yes, but no claims bonus can only be applied to one.

So shes already insured on one car at the moment. If she was to get insured on another car aswell, she couldnt hand in her no claims cert to the new company?
