Steering problem

    When I'm driving at 20/30 mph I can feel the steering moving like it has a mind of its own. If i barely grip the steering as I'm driving along and maybe take a slight turn it feels like one of the wheels is buckled or not running smoothly.
    I've had the wheels aligned and balanced and also had the alloys checked for a buckle and the walls of the tyres checked but my steering still feels like there is something wrong. Its an 01 Mondeo i'm driving.
    Any ideas?
