Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am looking for a player that has a built in radio. As for capacity 1GB would be fine. I was thinking of a Creative MuVo V200 (1024MB Voicerec,FM Radio) Does any one have an advice on this or could recommend a different player? Battery life is more imprtant than storage.

    Thanks

You could get an iPod and the optional FM radio. Loks and works great. But much more expensive.................

muvo's rock i reckon. but im a biased creative bunny..... have a wander into tesco if you're lookin for small storage. they sell the muvo and a rake of other ones.

I think you might find 1gig quite restrictive.

New H10s are 5gig. They also have an inbuilt tuner (with record ability). Had a creative micro zen before and the tuner on it was very very poor. H10 tuner is far superior.

No, actually, the new H10's are 6GB - and they retail for €269. They're pretty decent but I'm not all that fond of the interface myself and the way it forces you to use Windows Media Player to transfer music onto it.

The new Zen Micro, doesn't do this... it's the Zen MicroPhoto, and it's an 8GB machine, with a colour screen, retailing for the same price (€269). The Creative one just doesn't have a charger with it in the box - it charges via USB though, so any PC with USB or even a PlayStation 2 will charge it. I see nothing inferior about the FM tuner on the Creative player and would buy it and recommend it over the iRiver H10 any day.

Anyway, the OP says that 1GB would be fine, so I'd recommend the Creative Zen Nano 1GB, or the iRiver T20FM. The difference between the two there is that the Creative is AAA-battery powered and the T20FM is has a USB-chargeable lithium-ion battery.

Meant to say 6gigs - I have the older 5gig one myself.

You can convert to UMS so they're pretty much drag and drop.

I genuinely found reception on the creative very poor. Not sure if this was just the creative micro (and I've had two of them - returned the first after two weeks cos it was faulty).

I admit the man said 1gig but I think it becomes restrictive very quickly. Only my opinion though.

iAudio looks nice - 1 gig, tuner onboard. Battery life looks good
