    The Interactive Achievement awards were on over the weekend in Vegas. The awards seem to be pretty well-rounded, and none of the awards were too ridiculous... God of War (PS2) and Guitar Hero (PS2) cleaned up.

    They're run by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, the games induestry's Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, sort of.

    You're not one of those people who dismiss it because it's made by EA are you?

    I think it's really enjoyable and the storyline/structure makes you want to finish it

    I've played a good few racers this year, and it's my favourite anyway

    Can't believe Resident Evil 4 didn't get anything, it's the game of this generation of consoles.

    GT4 (or was that released in 2004 in the US?)
    PGR3

    I just enjoyed them far more than NFS.

    They're a totally different type of game though... NFS is total arcade fare, PGR/GT are much more into the "simulator" genre.

    I got PGR3 and NFS:MW when I got my 360 and much prefer NFS to be honest, more variety to it.

    GT4 maybe, its one of those love it or hate it games, I think a lot of people are sick of it now. Personally I really enjoyed it but I know a hell of a lot of people didn't.

    They would still be in the the "Racing Game of the Year" category if they had won anything.

    IMO Burnout revenge is a far better game.

    afaik capcom didnt enter it in to any of the awards, though that seems rather stupid
