Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I used to love my dance music, I was well into it from the mid 90's (Im 26), but stopped going into town (Dublin) because of work, a kid.. blah blah...

Anyway, I have recently moved back near dublin city, and to my horror, I can't find any Hard House clubs.

Can someone please tell this lost soul where to go for some good hard dance music in dublin, with not too many kids at it.

When I was younger, I used to go to temple theatre, Mono etc.

    Anything like that around anymore?

    Thanks

Good luck man, thankfully most hard house/hard dance clubs have been eradicated.

Head into traffic on friday, spirit basement on saturdays or the basement of the old isaac butts every second saturday for decent techy-housey-breaks-techno style tunes and get yer feckin head together!!
Theres feck all decent clubbing at the moment and they'd be the only places id frequent, but I aint into hard house or hard dance so thats prolly no use to you.

You'll be lucky to get anyone over 21 @ that Godskitchen and that is mostly Hard House,i like NU-Nrg from the mid 1990's Tony De Vit(RIP) style but hard house today has no originality it's the bas*ard child of hardcore.

you like hard house but you haven't heard any OD404 stuff?

check out (in no particular order)
Bad mother, Magnecor, Disco Cop, Split Filter, High Volume, Block Party, 9 Bar, Fireball, Whizzbang...
, Biofilter (get the **** out), Jirugi (sp!)...
but above all else, i'd suggest checking out "OD404 - Beat Dis (OD404 remix)"
quite possibly my favourite hard dance tune of all time:)

and chances are they'll be playing a fair bit of Defective Audio stuff as well (one of Dom Sweeten's alter egos)
