Octane boost fuel additive

Anyone use these things (doesn't matter what brand) and was there any difference? Same for these 'engine cleaning' additives..

Octane booster is widely available in Bike shops esoecially ones that deal with dirt bikes or drag racers.
Rock oil does one and so does silkolene.

I've just started using Pro Boost octane booster in my E36 M3 recently. Have to say i've started to notice the difference. Car seems to run smoother and mpg has defo increased.

Bought it from Pro-Parts.

I have a suspicion hat most cars would run better if owners just checked all the vacume pipes and cleaned out the throttle body every so often.
