Anybody have any experience with eNOM. They are a domain name provider service. I'm interested myself in their API which allows...
A customizable solution that will allow your customers to register and manage their domains through your site without your intervention.

I'm doing a project in college that relates to this field. Any feedback is much appricated. Thanks

yup, they are a good crowd. I've done a bit of work with their API myself.
PM me if you need a hand, though their code samples and help docs are very good.

You might also want to consider http://resellerclub.com/ which is the reseller side of http://directi.com/

    What about reporting and support?

Their support staff were so bad that I wrote this:

I've got some domains on an Enom account which is very user-friendly. The CP on my Directi reseller account is not as user-friendly but you get used to it.

Their (Directi's) support may have improved or maybe I got lucky. I emailed them about 7 - 8 times and they replied very quickly with helpful, informative and friendly replies.

If you are not worried about cost I'd recommend Enom. If cost is an issue Directi is worth considering because they are cheaper.

There's not much between registrars these days. Pretty much all the control panels do the same job and, at the end of the day, it's all the same domain registered with Verisign. Price usually wins

If you are only managing one or two domains it won't make much difference which registrar you use, but if you are doing any volumes at all then you need a reliable system. DirectI have a charming habit of doing "maintenance" in the middle of the day GMT, transfer requests vanish etc., etc.
