Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well, the topic itle says it all. I dont have any use for an mp3 player and dont have one. HOWEVER if I could use one to play my mp3s in the car stereo then I would buy one (the Rio for 149 6gig in PC world looks good value). As its a cd/radio I ahve Im told the only way is an Fm transmitter. And you cant buy them in Ireland.

You can make audio CDs from your MP3s..

Otherwise, yes i a radio transmitter is a good enough way to go. They are illegal to use in Ireland (Without license. And UK I should imagine) but not illegal to sell or buy. There are a few places around Ireland that sell them. [snip - Moderator]

    Read the charter please.

Discussion of how/where to get FM transmitters is not allowed as they are illegal to use both here and in the UK (including the north). Plus - this question has already been answered :- there's a section of the FAQ (the first post, in fact) that thoroughly answers the question Can I play my MP3 player through my car stereo, and if so - how?.
