Having my Stag-night in Kilkenny on the 25th Feb.

(On recommendation of some of my mates... I've never been:rolleyes: )

Music wise, we're into all sorts (lots of metal/punk/rock)

...umm, so basically anyone recommend any good pubs/bars/places?

You shouldn't care as you'll be blind drunk and handcuffed naked to a railing somewhere on the main street mate. (or possibly tarred and feathered, etc.)

    Welcome to Stagville

I agree with the above. Approach Lanigan's with caution though. I like my music loud but they have the music soooo ear-bleedingly loud in there that it's not worth it. Oh, and if you decide to go to Langton's, don't leave it too late or you'll be queueing for a long time

Great stuff folks... cheers (keep 'em coming)

Yeah, I'm kinda expecting some Acting-the-bo**ox-hand-cuff-ery-to-railings of some description... :o

Not too into places where the sounds are soo loud I can't hear myself think (I'm half deaf from being in bands the past 10yrs as it is:p )

Anyone be able to name any good local bands that might be playing the Saturday night?

Try Ryans friary street, they have good bands there most saturday nights.
    mostly other places have dj's.
